About Us

A marriage of an internet-based art site and a physical art gallery, PopArtMachine.com & Building 700 Gallery join together to present an over 1,000,000 item catalog of pop art prints and photo reproductions.

Your will find a variety of print forms in our galleries. Print sources range from modern photographic prints to reproductions of ancient documents. However, the Pop Art Machine’s take on global pop culture is the most interesting aspect of our online galleries.

We have created an artfully minded computer program. A conglomeration of software, the Pop Art Machine excels at creating large format digital prints from scraps of images found from far reaches of the internet.

In the classic Unix computer sense (popularized by Apple Computer) we’ve piped together a series of web crawlers (spiders), image processors, Photoshop actions and artificial intelligence models to bring you art that is familiar yet new.

Most important, for our gallery patrons, we’ve elected to provide most of our works free of charge in digital form. You may download and print these works as you see fit including large format photo finishing and high end ink jet outputs.

Funding

From time to time we will raise necessary funding with eBay auctions of finished art from our physical galleries. We will alert gallery patrons of these auctions with posts in our blog so stay tuned with your favorite RSS client or visit often.
