SUMMARY:Cartoon shows Wisconsin Senators John C. Spooner and Robert M. LaFollette walking down the aisle of the Senate, arm in arm. Although both were Republicans, Spooner and LaFollette were bitter political rivals. LaFollette was elected to the Senate in 1905, but delayed taking up his new position until 1906.
