SUMMARY:Cartoon shows Republican presidential hopefuls, Robert Taft, Harold Stassen, and Douglas MacArthur gazing in dismay at a giant footprint in the forest labelled "I Like Ike." Using the motif of the legendary lumberman Paul Bunyan, comments on the Minnesota presidential primary in March 1952 in which General Dwight D. Eisenhower received almost as many write-in votes as did Stassen who was running in his home state. (Neither Taft or MacArthur had their names on the ballot.)
